World of
Warcraft - Characters

Role playing games allow you to select an online
character which represents you in the World that you
are playing in. In World of Warcraft you will be able to
choose a Race (human, orc, elf, dwarf etc), a Class ( hunter,
rogue, warlock, druid etc) and to use
a profession (mining, fishing,skinning, enchanting
etc).
You pick your own name - don't stress - you can be Lord
Candleburner if you choose, the name can be silly, clever,
ordinary or classic - it doesn't matter. Get started and get
creative later with a new character.
Picking a race is more important as racial characteristics
give you skill sets and protections, so look into this a little
first before you choose. As it's also the way you look and the
alliance you have, choose one you like.
The class of your character also expands what you can and
can not do in World of Warcraft so check out the 9 classes and
pick something suitable for your race.
Professions can be picked up or left off as you quest, so
